I have been teaching music students for over 20 years and teach over 2,500 private music lessons each year to students in elementary school; middle school; high school; college and adults. Many educators (music and others) have their favorite "pet phrases" they use to convey their thoughts on a variety of subjects. Alas, I am no different as you will find in the following list that I've compiled over the years:

In addition to having attended the Eastman School of Music, I received my Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree from the University of Iowa.
As a performer and composer, I've been featured on the vibraphone at prestigious jazz festivals and venues and my music has been played on over 150 national and international radio stations. Currently, I am an artist/clinician with Ludwig/Musser and I perform with mallets by Mike Balter.
